Understanding Good360's Administrative Fees
Why does Good360 charge admin fees?
Good360 is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to close the gap and open opportunity for all. We do that by procuring and delivering goods at scale, across the country. In 2024, Good360 provided $3 billion of product at 90% less than retail prices to families and children facing crisis or recovering a disaster every year.
To operate at scale and efficiently, we charge an Administrative Fee, which includes:
- Inventory management & Compliance: Good360 makes sure that products go directly to vetted recipients and are never sold, bartered or otherwise inappropriately distributed.
- Warehousing, storage, and sorting: Labor and fulfillment to collect, store, and sort products before they are shipped out of National Distribution Centers in Omaha, Neb. and Maysville, KY
- Order fulfillment and transportation: Our online catalogue provides access to essential goods to nonprofits as soon as they are available at negotiated shipping rates. Our carrier’s shipping rates often fluctuate, which affects our administration fee prices.
- Staffing, relationship development and management: Good360 employs staff to acquire and maintain the relationships of hundreds of purpose-driven organizations, government agencies, foundations and individual donors.
